Build your architectural career working on large-scale, new construction projects while fulfilling all AXP hours and receiving mentoring to become a licensed architect.

We are hiring an Architectural Intern to join an international design firm with numerous offices, recipient of many awards, and a resume-building reputation.

This position offers a combination of architectural design technology, building systems coordination, and project collaboration. You’ll work with Revit and BIM technology, helping architectural and engineering teams identify design conflicts, coordinate solutions, and keep projects moving forward.

Rather than focusing exclusively on drafting or modeling, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of coordination activities, work with multiple design disciplines, and develop a deeper understanding of how complex buildings are designed and constructed.

You will be provided all of the support to progress into licensure. You will be given tasks specifically to acquire all AXP hours, be part of study groups, be provided study materials, have your AREs paid for, and given paid time off to take your registration exams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work on large-scale, new construction projects alongside experienced architects, engineers, and project leaders
  • Utilize Revit to develop, review, and coordinate architectural and engineering models
  • Coordinate multiple BIM models across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical disciplines
  • Use clash detection software to identify conflicts between building systems and help develop practical solutions
  • Evaluate coordination issues, determine which disciplines should address them, and help prioritize their resolution
  • Gain exposure to architectural design development, construction documentation, and the technical challenges involved in delivering complex buildings

About You:

  • Degree in Architecture
  • 1-5+ years of professional architecture experience
  • Experience working with Revit and developing or coordinating architectural building models
  • An understanding of architectural design, building systems, and construction documentation
  • An interest in collaborating with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines
