Interior Designer
A brand-new opportunity exists within an internationally recognized architecture and interior design firm for a full-time Interior Designer!
This is an opportunity for an emerging designer to work alongside accomplished interior designers, architects and strategists on innovative workplace environments for leading organizations and global brands.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the design and development of corporate workplace and commercial interior projects
- Assist with programming, space planning, test fits, and workplace planning
- Develop design concepts, presentations, finish palettes, and material selections
- Produce drawings, plans, elevations, details, and other project documentation
- Assist with furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment (FF&E) selection and specification
- Create presentation materials, renderings, and design documentation for client meetings
- Research materials, products, furniture, and emerging workplace design trends
- Coordinate design information with architects, consultants, vendors, and project team members
- Assist with construction documentation and project coordination
- Help maintain material libraries, project standards, and design resources
- Incorporate feedback from senior designers while developing greater project responsibility
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Approximately 2+ years of professional interior design experience
- Experience with workplace, corporate interiors, commercial interiors, or workplace strategy
- Understanding of fundamental space planning and interior design principles
- Working knowledge of Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Ability to communicate design concepts visually and verbally
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
- Interest in pursuing NCIDQ certification
